We worked with Scott at Cabinetry by Design (CBD) on a complete remodel of our kitchen and laundry - all new layout, cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Throughout the design process, Scott was very patient, attentive, reliable, and responsive to our questions and needs - it was obvious he cared that we got the kitchen we wanted with a flow that worked for our family. He offered great design ideas and offered resources when needed. Being a novice to custom cabinets, CBD took the time to talk through the different options, trends, and was able to offer examples from similar projects. Scott's experience and attention to detail made all the difference. When the custom cabinets were delivered, Scott was there to ensure each piece arrived and was exactly what we ordered. Similarly, he met with the contractor before installation to make sure the contractor fully understood the installation plan and could execute. When a cabinet was found to have a wood imperfection, Scott had a replacement to our home within days. Cabinetry by Design will not disappoint! They were engaged, present, and invested in the outcome of our project. And the end result is a breathtaking new kitchen and laundry room with everything we need for years to come.

Scott is a wonderful designer and listened to everything my husband and I wanted in our kitchen. The Three-D images were great as it showed me the island I thought I wanted, but I had it changed for a much better solution. He went to all appointments at the vendors he recommended, and they were all perfect. Now that the project has been completed, it by far exceeds my expectations. My husband and I will be reaching out again for our master bathroom and the wet bar in our finished basement. Both are in need of Scott's expertise.

We worked with Scott for our kitchen renovation in 2021. We really appreciated the time he took to layout the design of the kitchen and he was easy to work with for changes we needed. The cabinets are great quality! We are very happy with them in our kitchen! There were a few issues with cabinet doors and some stain errors when they were installed and Scott quickly had the company come out to replace and fix any issues we had. Should we have any future home projects, we would use Cabinetry by Design again!

His kitchen cabinets were outstanding quality at a mid-range price. His original estimate was on target. There were no surprises and his stated timeframe was right on target. We had a great experience with Scott and Cabinetry by Design. He spent months planning our new kitchen design with us, moving things here and there until I was content and satisfied. Before ordering, he supplied a sample cabinet door, which was really helpful, and I would have never thought to request that. The cabinet ordering process was pretty simple and not too long. Our cabinets are beautiful and everything fit when installed. We did have some issues along the way, but Scott did a great job handling each one. He even drove all the way to Indiana to pick up some cabinet doors that were delayed in shipment. I would highly recommend him. Kitchen projects are NOT FUN, and having someone you can trust by your side is really helpful and makes the process easier than it would have been.

Scott of Cabinetry by Design was an amazing partner in the planning and designing and installation of my new kitchen cabinets. He walked me through all the steps to furnish the best solutions and quality cabinetry I could afford. All his input and suggestions helped me make wise decisions that have resulted in a kitchen that I truly LOVE!! The cabinets that Scott offers are of the highest quality. I get compliments on them all the time, even from the contractors! He was a professional from start to finish. Always available to answer questions (and I had many) or make recommendations. What truly stood out was that he spent the entire day accompanying us to these appointments, helping us not only stay on budget but also choose products that aligned perfectly with my vision for the kitchen. In the end, I couldn't be happier with the final result. Scott brought my vision to life through his expert design, and our kitchen now looks exactly as I had imagined. I would highly recommend Cabinetry by Design for any of your home projects. Scott was absolutely wonderful to work with every step of the way. He was especially helpful with our contractor and made the whole process go smoothly. The cabinets are high quality and beautiful. We had a panel for our refrigerator that wasn't 100% and he had a new panel made to replace it without any problems. Scott was always available with questions from myself or the contractor and came to the house when the cabinets were delivered and installed. We love the cabinets and the kitchen and can't thank him enough for all he did in the process to make it happen.

My husband and I redid the kitchen that we have lived in for the last 25 years. We knew how we used it and knew how we wanted to change it. Scott's experience with kitchen design added value, so the end product was far better aesthetically and functionally - no detail was too small to escape his attention. We love the custom cabinets we purchased through Scott, and the suppliers that he recommended for our project (i.e. appliances, faucets, tiles, etc.) helped greatly to bring the whole thing together. Cabinetry by Design has been outstanding! We have enjoyed the entire process - from the initial walk-through of the space to the final installation. Scott and his team worked with us to develop our vision and create a workable, highly functioning kitchen and master bathroom. We were able to keep specific appliances and use suggestions for better placement as well as design our cabinets, including adding an extra glaze for a specific 'look'. Our cabinets arrived in a timely manner and were on-site and ready for the construction crew to install. The cabinets themselves are absolutely beautiful - well made, dovetail joints, beautifully finished, sturdy and solid. There is a lot of uncertainty when tearing out a space and rebuilding. Scott was a delight to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable and beautiful product. He did cabinetry in our new house for our kitchen, 2 bar areas, prep pantry, bathrooms, laundry room and craft area. He met with us multiple times to understand what we wanted. Brought designs to us that were what we had discussed with extra suggestion. Worked well with our builder. Everything was timely. We were extremely fortunate to find Scott's work on Houzz! After working with several contractors to help design a new kitchen, we brought Scott to our home and ended up being blown away. First, Scott actually sat and listened carefully to our wishes and then drew up designs that accommodated us. Second, his cabinets are unsurpassed in quality, craftsmanship and absolute beauty. Working with Scott was a great decision. He was knowledgeable and delivered every step of the process. I did most of the work myself, including new flooring, new dining room/kitchen/living room layout, tiling, appliance and cabinet install. As anyone who has ever completed a big DIY project knows, there are always hiccups along the way. Scott's design and the delivery of the cabinets was the only part of the process that went flawlessly. The 17+ cabinets and trimwork and accessories were perfect in every way: measurement, quality, finish. I highly recommend you work with Scott.

Our bathroom had not been updated in 20+ years. I only had a color theme and basic design in mind, and Scott took it from there. He presented his plan for materials and everything was just perfect. Project was completed in a timely manner. His staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Communication was spot on. Project was completed beautifully, with great attention to detail. Next project will be the kitchen and we would not even consider using anyone else.

We met Scott at a home expo and are so glad we talked to him! He is more than just a designer; he is with you through every step of the process. There was no question too dumb for him to answer and we were left with a design and finished product that I can't say enough about! What I appreciate the most about Scott is his honesty and transparency. Scott helped us with a kitchen, bath and laundry room remodel. Scott worked with us for many months on our new construction home project. We purchased all cabinetry as well as Cambria Quartz Countertops for the entire home. We have been in our home for 2 weeks now and just absolutely love the job that he did. We had a difficult task with our "hidden" pantry and not only did he execute it perfectly but we have family and friends that are just blown away by the fact you can't even tell it is a walk-in pantry. I had a specific color in mind for the cabinetry that hadn't ever been made before and he took a combination of a stain and a glaze to come up with a beautiful mahogany color that is just gorgeous. He was here for the delivery and installation of both the cabinets and countertops to oversee the project and has been greatly accommodating with all of our needs. I highly recommend using him for both quality and price. This was a fully custom job for much less than the "semi" custom cabinetry stores were offering me.

Couldn't be happier with my kitchen remodel with Cabinetry by Design. It's so hard to know who to choose with all the choices for designers and all the horror stories out there. Fate, karma, or something else led me to Scott and I am so grateful. His design for my kitchen was exactly what I asked for and the project was completed ON TIME and ON BUDGET (unheard of, I know). So happy with the quality of products, especially the cabinets. I got quotes from several other designers and all came back at least $15,000 higher for a lesser product. We had a terrific experience with Scott/Cabinetry by Design on our kitchen remodel. From day one he treated the project like it was his own. While he offered a lot of different design ideas he was careful to listen to what we were looking for and made sure the final design fit our thoughts and style. As remodel projects are prone to do we hit a couple unforeseen snags and Scott was right there to find a solution. He even accommodated a few tweaks we requested after the project had started. As for the project, it started and ended as expected. The vendors/products Scott represents are high quality and the contractor he recommended (Upright Remodeling in our case) was first class. In the end, not only did we get a kitchen we are thrilled with, we feel like we made a new friend. We couldn't recommend Scott any more highly.

This was a remodeling kitchen job. Scott did an excellent job of helping us design and get the most cabinet space in the area we already had. When I first met Scott, he was only 1 of 2 designers that even returned my phone call. He arrived promptly at our house for the scheduled appointment and from the moment he walked in, I knew he was my designer. He understood exactly what I wanted and worked with us on every aspect of our very large project. He guided us every step of the way and made sure everything was correct, down to the smallest detail. We all worked diligently to have very little changes during construction and the whole project ran smoothly. We cannot begin to express how grateful we are to have found someone who is so good at what he does and cares so much as well. It was truly a pleasure and we would highly recommend him for all projects.

I hired Cabinetry by Design to remodel my kitchen and master bath after getting quotes from several other contractors. Scott's attitude about the project, his willingness to listen and incorporate my ideas, and his helpful recommendations is what sold me and I was not disappointed. He seemed to really care that I ended up with something I would love that was within my budget. He set up appointments to look at countertops, faucets, tile, etc and made his recommendations on what colors and materials would work together, what type of tiles to use (some of which I wouldn't have even considered), carried samples from place to place so we could see the various wood and tiles and countertops side by side. He was almost as excited as I was to get the right combinations. It was a very fun and productive experience. I couldn't be happier with my kitchen and master bath. Scott Mecey provided us with two different design proposals and we were able to choose the best features of each design for our kitchen. Scott really excels in customer service. He was at our house the day the cabinets arrived to make sure that we received all of our cabinets and to verify that they were not damaged in any way. During the installation Scott took care of a couple minor issues that occurred quickly and efficiently.

Not only to design my two kitchens (one residential and one commercial) but to also facilitate the entire project management of ordering, logistics of delivery and the final installation. WOW! We hired Scott to replace the cabinets in our kitchen. We wanted to use the same footprint but make some changes in the wall cabinets and storage space. Scott came in and was very courteous and respectful. When we gave him our ideas, he never said "can't". If he thought of a way to achieve the goal differently, he told us his thoughts. He came in with the contractor, whom we also met with prior to agreeing to the project to make sure he understood our desires. The "little things" that Scott and Tom did completed the experience: showing up on time, returning phone calls, keeping the project on schedule, etc. Tom cleaned up all the dust and dirt that was created each day and left the workspace as neat and organized as a kitchen remodel could be. As a side note, if you have pets, they are animal lovers so you can feel comfortable knowing that. I had a less than pleasant experience with a bathroom remodel prior to this. Scott restored my faith in contractors and professionalism. I highly recommend Cabinetry by Design.
